Effective 1 November 2026, Richard Flansmose Hvas will join Polytech as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and become a member of the company’s executive Management Team.
Richard has more than 20 years of executive operational leadership experience from Vestas Wind Systems. Most recently, as Senior Vice President of Global Production Engineering, he led process and production engineering across 15–20 international factories and supported a manufacturing organization of more than 10,000 employees.
“Polytech is on an existing growth journey with a broad product portfolio. I am looking forward to joining the team and supporting the ramp up and buildup of our global production footprint,” Richard Flansmose Hvas said.
Richard holds a master’s degree in Logistics and has held several leadership roles within logistics and warehousing. In his new role, he will support Polytech’s strategy through 2029 and the company’s long-term growth ambitions.
“Richard’s extensive international operations experience will be a strong asset as Polytech continues to execute its growth strategy,” said CEO René Balle.
Richard Flansmose Hvas takes over from COO Claus Schou Nielsen who is leaving Polytech.
